ARTEX Environmental Corp., Toronto, has selected The IT Media Group (ITMG) as their marketing vendor of choice. ITMG will be providing marketing strategy consulting and content development services to the senior executive team at ARTEX.
Founded in 2005, ARTEX is a privately owned and managed Canadian corporation that provides end-of-life E-waste solutions and services to Fortune 1000 organizations.
In 2009, research firm IDC Canada listed ARTEX as one of the “Top 10 Canadian Green IT Companies to Watch”. Since November 2011, Ontario Electronics Stewardship (OES) has ranked ARTEX as the top E-waste solution provider in Ontario based on the powerful combination of the price ARTEX charges the OES program to recycle electronics – AND the company’s environmental scorecard.
Unlike other service providers in this area, who typically come from the scrap metal industry, the founders and executive team at ARTEX have a background in both Information Technology and the Environmental sector. They are committed to managing E-waste in the most environmentally sustainable way possible, without compromising their clients’ data security or corporate reputation.
ARTEX has a stated mandate to provide industry-leading services in three key areas that clearly differentiate them from their competitors:
- Best-Practices environmental handling with zero E-waste sent to landfill and zero dumped in developing countries;
- Best-Practices secure data-destruction to minimize identity theft and reputation damage
- An unwavering dedication to customer service and customer care
“We are thrilled to be working with ARTEX,” said Nasheen Liu, VP of Marketing & Vendor Relations at The IT Media Group. “It’s inspiring to work with a company that has such a strong commitment to ethical business practices and a passion for making our world a better place.”
