CIO roundtables explore future directions for enterprise IT

Many of Canada’s leading IT executives will be gathering in Toronto and Calgary this March to discuss new and evolving models for IT delivery, collaboration and innovation.
These events are part of The IT Media Group’s CIO Master Series Roundtables, one of the most successful event programs for IT executives in Canada, bringing together scores of CIOs from across the country for thoughtful and penetrating private discussions around the top issues facing enterprise IT.

The Calgary session, slated for March 4 from 8:00 to 10:30 a.m., will focus on future-proofing the IT organization. A variety of disruptive technologies and changing human behaviours are impacting the way companies do business. These changes fundamentally affect the role of IT. This roundtable will explore how CIOs are redesigning their IT organizations to meet these challenges and enable their companies reap the benefits from these new technologies and changing social patterns.
The Toronto session, March 5 from 8:00 to 10:30 a.m., will look at how CIOs are addressing the increasingly complex and specialized demands being made on enterprise technology. Areas of discussion will include data analytics, collaborative technologies, partnering across the business and with vendors, and meeting the business’s expectation that IT must drive enterprise innovation.
