Julie Hansen Joins The IT Media Group's CIO Advisory Board

TORONTO, ON – Jan 15, 2024 - The IT Media Group, a CIO-centric media company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Julie Hansen, Vice President, Global Executive Advisor at Salesforce, to our CIO Advisory Board. This strategic addition further solidifies The IT Media Group's commitment to enhancing content, connections, conversation and collaboration amongst the Canadian CIO and technology community.

A seasoned professional with over 25 years of growth-focused business, technology, and behavioural expertise, Julie has consistently demonstrated her ability to drive innovation and transformation. During her 16-year tenure at Salesforce, she’s pivotal in digitizing and transforming hundreds of global organizations.

Julie brings unique perspectives to the board, holding three degrees in Business, Computer Science, and Psychology and certifications in Value Chain Operations and Leadership from MIT Sloan and Sustainable Business Strategy from Harvard and ASU's Global Institute of Sustainability. She also holds the Competent Boards GCB.D board-level accreditation, focusing on business practices for growth and innovation.

As part of her commitment to mentorship and social impact, Julie is a judge and advisor to global innovation competitions, coaches women leaders in over 25 countries, and actively addresses inequalities worldwide.
